Numerous Seminars and Events on a Variety of Topics Throughout the Year with Renowned Experts
Our educational offers feature high practical relevance and are designed for orthopedic technicians and orthopedic shoe technicians, service and sales personnel, workshop personnel as well as physical and occupational therapists. All seminars and workshops in the IETEC Academy are created according to a didactic concept. The basics of all four movecontrol concepts (movecontrol sports, movecontrol pain, movecontrol diab, and movecontrol work) are first taught together in an introductionary seminar. Then the specific areas within a concept are taught in more depth. The training program is complemented by additional seminars, such as “Social Media, Clinic Seminars, Spiral Dynamics, CAD/CAM Training.”
Our speakers include renowned researchers, doctors, and medical experts. The content of our seminars is continuously being revised and updated according to current research and development.
Certificates and Continuing Education Points
After a seminar unit has been successfully completed, the participants will receive a certificate from the IETEC® academy with the IQZ and AGOS continuing education points.
Blended Learning – A Recipe for Success
The IETEC education concept combines online learning with in-person courses in our academy facilities in a blended learning concept. Digital formats are offered in compact units of 1.5–3 hours.
The seminar content, progress check questions, medical history, and report documents as well as other practice-relevant materials are available in the download area. Video recordings of the online seminar blocks allow course participants to study flexibly on their own time.

What to Know About the IETEC Academy
Why should I attend the IETEC Academy?
Our speakers are experts and experienced practitioners from a variety of fields. As a participant in our seminars, you will receive practice-relevant course content and have direct insights into IETEC research and developement.
What type of prior knowledge is required for the seminars?
For the basic course, there is no prior knowledge required. The more in-depth seminars build on the basic course and can only be attended after successful completion of the basic course.
What type of professions are the seminars geared towards?
Our continuing education seminars are aimed at orthopedic technicians, orthopedic shoe technicians, orthotists, podiatrists, pedorthists, service and sales personnel, workshop personnel as well as physical and occupational therapists and sports scientists.
Are IETEC seminars offically recognized and accredited?
Yes, in Germany all IETEC seminar are recognized by the Institut für Qualitätssicherung und Zertifizierung (IQZ) [German institute for quality assurance and certification] as well as the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Orthopädieschuhtechnik (AGOS) [working group orthopedic shoe technology]. Participants will receive the listed number of accreditation points upon successful completion.
How can I participate in an IETEC seminar?
IETEC partners can register online via the IETEC online partner portal. For online seminars, the technical requirements only include a PC or laptop with a good internet connection and a webcam. Our seminars are largely conducted using the online meeting tool “Zoom.” All participants will receive the Zoom link for the seminar before it begins. The in-person seminars take place in our facilities in Fulda, Germany.
